Ouzoud Waterfalls are located in the Azilal region, 150 kilometers from Marrakesh, the word Ouzoud is an Amazigh word meaning a millstone, Ouzoud Falls is one of the most important tourist places for lovers of mountain tourism in Morocco, Ouzoud waterfalls are formed from two waterfalls, one of them drains into the other to meet the water of the waterfall in Wadi El-Ubayd, the main tributary of the Oum Er-Rbia River.

Access to the bottom of the waterfall is easy through staircases shaded with olive trees, and on the sides of which there are restaurants and galleries displaying local handicrafts, the area surrounding the waterfall is characterized by the presence of various vegetation cover of almond, oak, willow, pomegranate, fig, apple and lemon trees, in addition to the presence of seasonal birds and monkeys that domesticated in the presence of tourists.

As a tourist, you can enjoy the view of the waterfall falling from the top in a wonderful view, you can also move between the two banks of the river either by using wooden walkways, or by using a boat that takes you on a tour of the mouth of the waterfall and approaching the water pouring from the waterfall.

The waterfalls of Ouzoud and the surrounding area offer spaces to enjoy and eat local dishes in restaurants in a picturesque nature with the tones of folkloric folk bands that sing the Amazigh language , there are also places to stay in the area, either in homes for rent or hotels, at reasonable and affordable prices

Ouzoud Waterfalls have become of great interest to Moroccan tourists, as well as foreign tourists who come to it for nostalgia for nature and to replace the salinity of the sea with the freshness of the valleys' waters.
